Dad,

Its good to hear from you. Trust me, I understand it must be busy with everyone back home. I am just glad to hear from you guys every once in a while. How is work? How are sports? How is everything at home?

My Companions are great. Elder Carpenter is a great worker, and he knows this area well, since he has been here for his first two transfers. he has been an invaluable asset. Elder Huffcutt is a great elder as well, he loves the gospel, and knows the scriptures very well. He is still learning, but he is off to an amazing start. I love being out here, and we are working hard to turn this branch into a ward.

i will share some stuff that happened this week with mom, so that I dont write them twice.

Stay safe, and sequid adelante. Les amo y les extraño.

Love,
Elder Cybulski

Hey Family

This week was pretty good. No, we dont have our car back yet. It has been at the shop for over a month now!! We are supposed to get it back tomorrow though, so cross your fingers lol. Other than that it has actually been a little warmer this week. We hit a whopping 30 degrees this week. lol Yeah, somebody told me that Kansas was getting some crazy cold spell. Being a trainer is great. I love helping my comps as well as my investigators. We are learning from one another, and we are working hard. Everyone has their difficulties, but mine have to be at their minimum as i set the framework for these elders. It is an awesome responsibility to have. I love it.

A job interview??? Thats awesome. Good luck, cause I know it will be a great opportunity to have and to learn from. Everything else sounds great with the family. I still havent heard from matt or halle in a while. Tell them to write or something.

Ward conference sounds like a good meeting. I wish I could have listened to those. I actually spoke in our meetings yesterday. I spoke in our English, and Spanish meetings, so therefore I didnt have to translate which was a relief lol. My topic was the Godhead. It wasnt that bad, but I am definitely more comfortable with smaller groups in homes and stuff. We have been teaching some awesome people, and they are getting ready for baptism. One of them is Bobby, the one on the right in the picture. the other is Rondo, but he is already a member. Other than that nothing really happened that was super exciting this week. I will have tons of stories to tell you eventually, and I am keeping track in my journal, so dont worry.

I love you guys.

Hey mom,

It is so great to hear from you, like every week, but it is still good. Good, I am glad you are getting some cold. The snow from November 12th is still on the ground out here.... Oh, and yes, I will still get packages. We have a p.o. box, so I will just go grab it. Luckily we live like right next to the post office. So, feel free to just keep sending them to spokane. They take the same time even though we are the farthest area from the mission home. lol

Our area covers the cities of Twisp, Pateros, Brewster, Bridgeport, Mansfield, and all the little small ones in between. We dont go up to Omak, and there is the Chelan area between us and wenatchee. Thank you so much for the birthday package, I am super excited to read those talks. We do have a subway, so that one will be used quick. As for the sonic and pizza hut, I will have to wait till we go the hour down to wenatchee for a p day as soon as we get the car back. But thank you so much for those.

That is an awesome message that the sisters shared with you guys. I have actually been studying alot about faith. I have found that the bible dictionary words on faith are super good. They have really helped me understand it better. oh, I actually have a request. im not sure how long they are, but if there is a way to get the lectures on faith that would be something I would enjoy reading.

Lately, we have been seeing a lot of our investigators to get them ready for baptism, but there are some rivals we have up here. We have found that several pastors and youth leaders up here keep a vclose eye on us, and preach a lot of anti. It has ruined our realtionship with a lot of people. It is just sad to see that people have to do that when their own doctrine is not strong enough. We never ever bash with then even though they try to. It is just a testimony builder that satan really does effect others without the priesthood to do his will. But that is all that has really happpened this week. OH, yesterday at church we had some people from the stake come and speak in our spanish meeting. ussually when I have had to translate I have had it written out, and I could just follow along with them. However, yesterday all they handed me was the copy of their talk in english, and I had to simultaneously translate into spanish. IT WAS SOOOOOOOO HARD!! And it didnt help that they didnt follow teir talk at all, so I had to follow them in english as well as translate. But, the spanish members said they learned alot, and it made sense, so I call that a success. lol

So that is what happened this week. I love you guys. Keep your faith strong, and remember how we receive blessing, it is conditional upon our obedience. Write soon.

Hey mom,

So everything out here is Brewster is going great. This area is known as the promise land in the mission. It seems like every zone leader on the spanish side has at one point served in brewster. And, considering the very small population we have a very high percentage get baptized. We were talking to Elder Huffcutt, the new one, and he is actually here in the mission waiting for his visa so that he can go to Mexico. Our single area in three times the size of his entire mission in Mexico!!! I really like it out here, cause I will meet like ever person that lives out here lol. Even though it is ridiculously cold, and our car has been in the shop for three weeks....therefore, we have been walking, but I like it.

This last weekend, one of the families that I taught back in my last area got baptized. I wasnt able to be there for the baptism, but I got a picture before I left. (attached) It was the Dad, Mom, and the older son that got baptized.

And that trailer is where we live. It is actually pretty nice, cause we are all on our own. Dont worry, it is warm...
Not much has really happened this week though, since I was getting into a new area and such. i just really went around and got to know all of the investigators that they have been teaching. Oh, and also putting some people on date to get baptized lol. We have one coming up this saturday, and some of the coming saturdays. Hopefully we get our car back soon though, so that we can visit some of the outlying parts of our area. Our area in 100 miles long...

So that is about it for me this week. I love you guys. Keep up the good work, and write soon.

January 7, 2013 Transfer to Brewster, WA/Trainer/Sr Companion

Hey mom,

It was so good to hear from you today. Yes, this last week was a super productive one. We have been teaching some fantastic people, and we have two baptisms set up with some more that are soon to accept dates we feel like.

ACTUALLY, today is transfer day again, and last night we got our calls as to where we are going to be for the next 6 weeks. I am moving!!! I am going to be going to an area in the same zone called Brewster (name of the town). I will be with one of the elders that was just there for the last 12 weeks. He is a great elder, he is only 6 weeks behind me in the mission. So, I will be senior companion for the first time. But the cool thing is that I am also going to be training. Tomorrow I am going to spokane to pick up my brand new missionary, and I will be his trainer as well as a senior comp to Elder carpenter....!!!!! I am so excited, cause being able train this soon is awesome. And we will be a trio, therefore, we can go into any house, we dont have to worry if there is a male there. It is just going to be super awesome. I am ecstatic right now!! Even though I wont see those investigators baptized that I was just teaching, I know that the work of the lord is moving forth, and that it is an amazing time to be a missionary.

I am so glad that you have had such a good opportunity and to help the missionaries in the area.

I will definitely send matt a letter.

For my birthday I really only want one thing. During the last couple of weeks my camera has been slowly breaking. The software inside is failing, and it wont stay on, so with the money that gran gran sent today I bought myslef another camera. So, for my birthday, I want you to get a 3" binder and a bunch of clear sheet protectors. Then, on lds.org <http://lds.org/> got to the oldest confernce talks you can find to print, and put them in the binder. I try top read a talk a day, so you dont need to send a full binder right now, but like 10-15 will work and you can send me more talks periodically. That is all that I want for my birthday, but starting from old talks and working to newer ones with be a really cool thing to read I think.

I love you guys. I miss you tons, but I am excited to be out here. Take care, and have fun. Remember who you are, and the kind of person the lord wants you to be.

Love,
Elder Cybulski

January 1, 2013 Happy New Year

Hey mom,

So today I am just going to send some pics, and tell some stories with the limited time that I have. So, the first on is a gigantic snowman that they always make in Cashmere. It is HUGE! The next one is that dish that I was telling you about called Passole. It is super good, and you can see some of the bones and stuff in it. Yummmmm! The Third one is all of the missionaries that work with the spanish branch in the area. We have what is called pan dulce (sweet bread). It is really good and a hispanic specialty. And the last one is just a chicken that we found on somebodies porch that was sitting in a lawn chair. lol

It was so good to see you guys on Christmas. I really had so much more to say in my testimony. I wish I could have shared everything. I actually told you guys two different testimonies. I didnt really translate. The Spanish was for you guys, and the English was for Gran Gran and them. I love you guys so much, It was good to see Dad, and to see you all. Tell Everyone Happy New year for me, and give Aunt Lisa crap for not being there.

i love you so much Mom, write soon, and so will I.

Love,
Elder Cybulski
