February 25, 2013 Email

Hey mom,

So, no letter this week i guess.....................................lol jk I understand you guys are all busy. Everything out here is doing great. Our new Elder is Elder Thomas from Utah. He is awesome. he is a great new Elder. He is actually waiting for a visa to go to Lima Peru. That is why i am also still with Elder Carpenter. Being a district leader has been crazy busy. Giving training, and going to extra meetings has really taken me away from the area, and I would much rather be teaching investigators, but I know the lord needs me to serve in this position to help someone, so I will do it. (1 nephi 3:7) Mom, one this I do want to say is thank you. Thank you for teaching me how to take care of myself. How to clean, cook basics, and just do those standard things that make everything work. A certain Elder This week asked me how to use an oven, and how to wash his clothes....

So, yesterday I had to go down to Ephrata, and hour and a half away, for a quad stake missionary training. We had All of the bishops, ward mission leaders, stake presidents, district leaders, and zone leaders there from that entire area. We also had President and sis Mullen, and Elder Risenmay of the seventy there to talk to us. Mom and Dad, GET INVOLVED IN THE WORK. I know you already are, and you are very willing, but this work is hastening fast, and it will move forward whether we are part of it or not. ok, there is my two scents about missionary work.

I love you guys, and I hope to hear from you soon. One this that I would like, is your history with the church and stuff. Last night people were talking about their families, and conversions, and I have a very hazy timeline of out family with the church. So That would kind of be good information to have, like when you were baptized, and when you met the missionaries, where, who they were, when we were sealed, and stuff like that. Thank mom. I love you so much.

Love,
Elder Cybulski

February 18, 2013 District Leader

Hey mom,

So, yeah I did send those suits home, but I still have those two suits from missionary mall so I am all good. No worries. That is so awesome that you found those cherry things. I cant wait to get them. And, no I havent made it yet, cause I am working on finding a pan that I can use for it. We dont have any that are deep enough.

Well, my "new" area isnt so new anymore. Yesterday we finished our transfer, so we got our transfer calls. For this next transfer I will be in the same area, but I will be getting a new missionary to train, and I will also be a district leader. It is exciting to be moving along in leadership, but it is also exciting to stay in this area, cause there so much potential and I love the people here.

I am really glad that matt got my letters, and there are a few more on their way today. I love you guys a ton, but as you could imagine we are all super busy with it being transfer day yet again. Write soon.

Hey mom,

I got your email. I am so glad that you got that job. That is pretty awesome that you are now working in your own field again. I am very happy for you. Sounds like there is alot of future at valley view bank.

I think not being home though will help halle and Matt learn to make better decisions for themselves though. It may be rough at first with new found freedom, but I know when I went to BYU that I had to start making the right decisions because I knew they were right, not because I was being watched. And at least you are there to pick them up if heaven forbid they fall down.

It is good to hear that activities are starting to slow down. The end of the school year was always the best part cause there was more time to focus on what is really important.

So, out here in Brewster we have been doing great. This last week elder Huffcutt finally got his visa, so he actually left for Mexico yesterday. So, now we are a real companionship lol. I will send a picture of us three. We are having some awesome success with this awesome family. Their names are Heriberto, Marisol, and kevin. We found Heriberto on the street, and then went by to teach them . he has come to church every week since we started seeing him, and they are getting ready to get baptized this saturday. It will be so awesome to see some success here, cause we are teaching so many awesome people, we have just had trouble getting them to keep commitments. It is awesome to see people that truly have the desire to change and come closer to the savior. I wouldnt say there was anything super crazy that happened this week. If there was I wrote it down in my journal, and I cant remember it right now, so you will just have to wait for a little while lol.

I love you guys. Keep up being awesome, and remember your covenants.

Hey family,

So, This week has been a pretty good week. We finally got our car back on tuesday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO, we have been able to see so many more people and be more effective. WE have been working really hard this week. I will attach some picture of my companions that are ver candid, and not staged. Both pics were in like a couple hours of each other. I work them really hard, and they are great. We get lots done, and I am proud to be with them. We actually have a baptism that we will have this Wednesday. Her name is Carol, and she is the best. The is the wife to a recent convert. She is super southern, so obviously, I like her.

ok, so I just got the email from mom for this week, I will respond to it. I actually didnt know anything about the super bowl. That is pretty exciting stuff. I am sure that the Harboughs werent very happy about a delay in the game though. You guys got a brand new sister? Is she a nineteen year old? Tell her I say hey. Oh, and let the other one know that I havent gotten a letter from them about emma yet, so if they would like more info, or if they have questions to please write me. And that is good news about Emma. I have been hearing from her, but I havent heard anything about how the lessons are going. I am glad that Aimee is involved, she would be a great fellowshipper.

Well, I will let you guys go, and I will talk to you soon.

Dad,

Its good to hear from you. Trust me, I understand it must be busy with everyone back home. I am just glad to hear from you guys every once in a while. How is work? How are sports? How is everything at home?

My Companions are great. Elder Carpenter is a great worker, and he knows this area well, since he has been here for his first two transfers. he has been an invaluable asset. Elder Huffcutt is a great elder as well, he loves the gospel, and knows the scriptures very well. He is still learning, but he is off to an amazing start. I love being out here, and we are working hard to turn this branch into a ward.

i will share some stuff that happened this week with mom, so that I dont write them twice.

Stay safe, and sequid adelante. Les amo y les extraño.

Hey Family

This week was pretty good. No, we dont have our car back yet. It has been at the shop for over a month now!! We are supposed to get it back tomorrow though, so cross your fingers lol. Other than that it has actually been a little warmer this week. We hit a whopping 30 degrees this week. lol Yeah, somebody told me that Kansas was getting some crazy cold spell. Being a trainer is great. I love helping my comps as well as my investigators. We are learning from one another, and we are working hard. Everyone has their difficulties, but mine have to be at their minimum as i set the framework for these elders. It is an awesome responsibility to have. I love it.

A job interview??? Thats awesome. Good luck, cause I know it will be a great opportunity to have and to learn from. Everything else sounds great with the family. I still havent heard from matt or halle in a while. Tell them to write or something.

Ward conference sounds like a good meeting. I wish I could have listened to those. I actually spoke in our meetings yesterday. I spoke in our English, and Spanish meetings, so therefore I didnt have to translate which was a relief lol. My topic was the Godhead. It wasnt that bad, but I am definitely more comfortable with smaller groups in homes and stuff. We have been teaching some awesome people, and they are getting ready for baptism. One of them is Bobby, the one on the right in the picture. the other is Rondo, but he is already a member. Other than that nothing really happened that was super exciting this week. I will have tons of stories to tell you eventually, and I am keeping track in my journal, so dont worry.

I love you guys.

Hey mom,

It is so great to hear from you, like every week, but it is still good. Good, I am glad you are getting some cold. The snow from November 12th is still on the ground out here.... Oh, and yes, I will still get packages. We have a p.o. box, so I will just go grab it. Luckily we live like right next to the post office. So, feel free to just keep sending them to spokane. They take the same time even though we are the farthest area from the mission home. lol

Our area covers the cities of Twisp, Pateros, Brewster, Bridgeport, Mansfield, and all the little small ones in between. We dont go up to Omak, and there is the Chelan area between us and wenatchee. Thank you so much for the birthday package, I am super excited to read those talks. We do have a subway, so that one will be used quick. As for the sonic and pizza hut, I will have to wait till we go the hour down to wenatchee for a p day as soon as we get the car back. But thank you so much for those.

That is an awesome message that the sisters shared with you guys. I have actually been studying alot about faith. I have found that the bible dictionary words on faith are super good. They have really helped me understand it better. oh, I actually have a request. im not sure how long they are, but if there is a way to get the lectures on faith that would be something I would enjoy reading.

Lately, we have been seeing a lot of our investigators to get them ready for baptism, but there are some rivals we have up here. We have found that several pastors and youth leaders up here keep a vclose eye on us, and preach a lot of anti. It has ruined our realtionship with a lot of people. It is just sad to see that people have to do that when their own doctrine is not strong enough. We never ever bash with then even though they try to. It is just a testimony builder that satan really does effect others without the priesthood to do his will. But that is all that has really happpened this week. OH, yesterday at church we had some people from the stake come and speak in our spanish meeting. ussually when I have had to translate I have had it written out, and I could just follow along with them. However, yesterday all they handed me was the copy of their talk in english, and I had to simultaneously translate into spanish. IT WAS SOOOOOOOO HARD!! And it didnt help that they didnt follow teir talk at all, so I had to follow them in english as well as translate. But, the spanish members said they learned alot, and it made sense, so I call that a success. lol

So that is what happened this week. I love you guys. Keep your faith strong, and remember how we receive blessing, it is conditional upon our obedience. Write soon.
